Students prepare for planting day at Dewdney Elementary on October 12th. Thank-you Niel for coming and teaching us where and how to plant. We were fortunate to have a sunny (although cold and windy) morning planting.
Great team work Dewdney! Thank-you to all the parent volunteers and family members who came out to help. :)

''One day in October we discovered mushrooms growing in our field. That day our quiet time was spent looking at the mushrooms. After 6 minutes of quiet time, we gathered together to share what we noticed about mushrooms. The students noticed that mushrooms can big or small, they are white, they are round or pointy, they grow in the grass, and they are smooth. ''
